Becky & Brian ~ Getty Center, L.A.

I did a really fun engagement session recently. I am photographing Becky and Brian's wedding this December... and as the images prove, they have great chemistry together! I personally always enjoy shooting at the Getty Center as it's a great mix of both architecture and greenery.

Danielle & Oscar ~ Los Angeles, Ca

I photographed Danielle & Oscar's wedding last Saturday. From the moment I showed up at her Suite at the Luxe it was pure fun! Danielle was literally ready to party. It's so freeing as a photographer to walk into an environment thats relaxed and equally full of energy. The ceremony & reception were close by at the Skirball Cultural Center. Please enjoy a few of the images :)

One of my favorite images of the day... the image speaks for itself.

This image of the bride & groom was photographed in the stairwell. Sometimes the most simple locations can provide the most captivating results.

This image is all about her expression. A very strong image...

This image was taken with available light only. Very impactful & dramatic... another one of my favorites.

Jenny & Justin, a few more

Here are a few more images from Jenny & Justin's San Francisco wedding in July... I love this first image especially! Justin stopped by the bride's room for a quick romantic gesture prior to the ceremony.

The Studio

For those of you who have never seen the studio, here is your chance! Epic Imagery is located in Woodland Hills, Ca... Extensive thought, creativity and hard work has gone into making the studio what it is today.

This is the main showroom for meeting with clients, watching slideshows or previewing larger images on the plasma.

Another view of the showroom from the main album table. In the distance is another meeting area and the entrance off to the right.

This is what I call the "piano room" thanks to the Baby Grand piano in the left corner. This room is probably my favorite location to shoot at the studio. The light that enters into this room is amazing.

Here is my office, where the real work gets accomplished! On the left side is another editing/production area for my assistant Aaron.

And lastly, the view of the studio from the front...

Camera recommendation

One question I get asked a lot is: Which camera do I recommend? Well I recently purchased a new camera: Canon Powershot G9. The last thing I wanted was to carry my professional camera gear on my trip (heavy & expensive). I'd have to say I'm highly impressed by this camera. It's a 12.1 MP camera and is capable of shooting RAW. You can leave it in the automatic mode and get great results or override it and customize the settings as you wish. The images from my vacation (see previous 2 posts) were photographed with this camera.

(I purchased mine from Costco.com. It was about $500 w/tax and included a 2GB card)

Family Vacation, Bahamas

The second leg of our trip was a Disney cruise to the Bahamas. We sailed the seas, anchored in Disney's private Castaway Cay and then went on to Nassau. This portion of the trip was definitely a bit more relaxing. The soothing water, endless food and flowing drinks have that ability. We also utilized the day care which was filled with good hearted Aussies who were ready, willing and able to give mom and dad a break.

Here is Jaden and I outside our cabin. I'm always amazed at how cute my sons are...

This is the view of Nassau from the Disney Wonder as we were setting sail. The lighthouse in front added a nice touch and The Atlantis Resort stands in the back.

Here is mommy and bubby!

Mom and dad having a great time. Isn't my wife beautiful!

On the last night of the cruise there were amazing lightning storms at sea. They were not anywhere near the ship so i had to zoom far far away to get this image (and only after 15 or so tries). You can see the bolt hitting the water at the very bottom.
